Margaret Eggleton SWA SBA SGFA

I studied Art Education for three years in London and taught in Surrey schools, including Lynton Prep School, Ewell, while continuing to draw in ink, paint in watercolour and exhibit locally.  I now teach adults and exhibit in London as well as demonstrate and critique for art groups and lead workshops. I have led several painting holidays at home and abroad.  My subject matter is varied but all my work has a strong emphasis on drawing.

I joined Epsom and Ewell Art Group in 1988 and am now a member of three National Art Societies: SWA (Society of Women Artists), SBA (Society of Botanical Artists) and the SGFA (Society of Graphic Fine Art) where I was a Council Officer for ten years.

I have written and illustrated two books published by Search Press: “Drawing Flowers” was published in 2012 and “Drawing Landscapes” in 2014. The drawings are in several different media.
